News Commentary - Students highlight a news story of interest to them. Students visit authentic, primary sources of news using the Internet and present their commentary about the news. Students document their sources, including any images used.
Reading Connections - Sudents are encouraged to read for pleasure. Students keep a web journal making frequent entries aobut their reading selections. Students use the Internet to direct visitors to web sites connected to thier readings.
